What is FOCP?
Feeding Our Communities Partners is a hunger-relief nonprofit that serves students in grades K-12 who go to over 30 schools within 6 school districts in Southern Minnesota. Our programs are available to youth K-12 who have difficulties eating three meals a day because of financial hardship.

BACKPACK FOOD PROGRAM
The BackPack Food Program provides healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks for weekends and extended school breaks. Food is distributed the school day before each weekend or extended break, and packs are placed directly into students' backpacks at school.
Students in grades K-5 are eligible for the BackPack Food Program. FOCP honors most allergies, dietary restrictions and culturally specific diets within the food packs. There are no income requirements for the program. For more information, check out our Frequently Asked Questions. |
POWER PACK PROGRAM
The Power Pack Food Program provides healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks for weekends and extended school breaks, as well as snacks during the school day. Food is distributed the school day before each weekend or extended break, and packs are placed directly into students' backpacks at school.
Students in grades 6-8 are eligible for the Power Pack Food Program. FOCP honors most allergies, dietary restrictions and culturally specific diets within the food packs. There are no income requirements for the program. For more information, check out our Frequently Asked Questions. |
HIGH SCHOOL PANTRYThe High School Food Pantry is a school year meal program that offers a range of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options to 9-12 youth. Food is available via cinch sacks or physical pantries located at schools. Check in with your school social worker for access to your High School Food Pantry.
Students in grades 9-12 are eligible for the High School Food Pantry. Food pantries are available at: Central High, Mankato East High, Mankato West High, Futures Program, St. Clair and Kato Public Charter. For more information, check out our Frequently Asked Questions. |
SUMMER PACK PROGRAMThe Summer Pack Food Program provides healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks for weekends during the summer months. Food is delivered monthly directly to your doorstep and deliveries contain one month's worth of weekend food.
Students in grades K-12 are eligible for the Summer Pack Food Program. FOCP honors most allergies, dietary restrictions and culturally specific diets within the food packs. There are no income requirements for the program. In 2025 boxes will be delivered on June 12, July 10 & August 7. For more information, check out our Frequently Asked Questions. |
STOMP
STOMP is a weekday meal program that offers free lunches Monday-Friday each week throughout the summer. Lunches are offered at various pickup sites throughout the greater Mankato area. Check back in May for a complete listing of meal site locations.

WINTER BREAK BOX
As the longest break during the school year, FOCP provides nutritious food packs as well as fresh and frozen foods including juice, milk, bread, and more. Food is delivered directly to your doorstep, and all students enrolled in the BackPack and Power Pack Food Programs receive this food, High School Students must enroll.
Students in grades K-12 are eligible to receive Winter Break Boxes. FOCP honors most allergies, dietary restrictions and culturally specific diets within the boxes covering the extended break.
